No Wonder the Republicans ar Having a Problem

with one comment

And people wonder why the Republican party has a problem. please read the article  posted on IRN NEWS  below:

A bill before the congress could give the Justice Department the power to suspend the second amendment for those suspected of being a threat to the government

A bill introduced by New York Republican  representative Peter King would allow the Obama justice department to deny gun rights to anyone deemed a threat or potential threat to the government. The so-called Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorist of 2009 is so vaguely worded that it could be used to deny Second Amendment protections to virtually anyone named by the Justice Department as a potential terrorist. Furthermore it includes no way to challenge such a determination.

Before one can be aginst it we must return to it.  What do you think?  United we stand and divided we fall

AIG and YOUR TAX DOLLAR

leave a comment »

After reading the article AIG finally names names it should be of concern to all of us. The top recipients under CDS related collateral received 11billion dollars 4.3 billion of which went to American companies. Top companies under the CDO program received 18.4 billion 8.7 billion which went to American companies. Now consider the top ten companies received in excess of 27.6 billion dollars 9.3 billion of which went to American banks. Read the full article for yourself “AIG finally names names” This is a good example of Washington politics rather than proper Government as set forth by our founding fathers.

United we stand and divided we fall … The choice is yours to make

Where We Are … Or?

As the person who writes this blog, new words have been had to put to paper lately. Those of you who have visited here know there are two blogs this one and americanvoice2 . The original intent was to discuss only the foundation of America as related to our Constitution and then the election of our new president came along. There is no ham wished on anyone in any way. The reality is America is in trouble. America was established as a constitutional republic with a strong Judeo Christian heritage.

Having a Judeo Christian Heritage is not a bad thing as some would have you to believe. It is a good thing. Go to any other nation in the world and you will find a standard… foundation of each nation Americas is Judeo Christian. The beauty is that all are welcome in America. The problem is many do not follow the rules. Rather than follow they create the rules as needed to meet the desire. The Supreme Court of the United State in 1892 stated the following:

U. S. 471

“subject, is granted and secured; but to revile, with malicious and blasphemous contempt, the religion professed by almost the whole community is an abuse of that right. Nor are we bound by any expressions in the Constitution, as some have strangely supposed, either not to punish at all, or to punish indiscriminately the like attacks upon the religion of Mahomet or of the Grand Lama, and for this plain reason, that the case assumes that we are a Christian people, and the morality of the country is deeply engrafted upon Christianity, and not upon the doctrines or worship of those impostors.”

We as a nation have come a long way in two hundred plus years it is a shame we are destroying ourselves in the process. This is accomplished two main areas. First, as a nation we have walked away from our Judeo Christian heritage. Second, as a nation we fail to follow the simplicity of our foundational documents. Take a minuet and think for yourself it is because of our Judeo Christian heritage and our foundational documents that America is a free nation, it is not the other way around as some would like you to believe.

Did you know our Constitution in the Bill of Rights provides for freedom of religion and the free exercise there of . Did you know that the tenth amendment of our constitution limits the power of the Executive, Judicial, and Legislative branches of Government?

United we stand and divided we fall the choice is yours to make.

Blessings,
